Sponsor a Child at Medina Children's Home

Thank you for your interest in our sponsorship program. Currently we have approximately 101 children awaiting a kind loving person or family to extend a supportive hand. Over the years the number of children in need of a sponsor has outweighed the number of people willing to help out. Many of our children that are eligible for support have been waiting up to 2 years for a sponsor. Please join us and give hope and the necessities needed for one or more of these beautiful children. The Home provides love, a secure environment, and the basic necessities, but sometimes a child needs a little more help. Generally a child’s personal needs can be met for approximately $250 per month. He or she can use clothing, toiletries, undergarments, socks, and shoes year round. Then of course there are the “I Wish I Had’s,” which in reality are big necessities for a child. If you prefer to send funds and allow the children to make their own purchases with guidance from their House Parents, please note “Child Sponsor” and/or the child(ren)’s name(s) in the memo of your check. If you prefer to purchase items, you can mail them or arrangements may be made to pick them up. You may want to provide funds, as well as clothing, toys or other items. This is totally up to you! In return your sponsored child will send you a little information about themselves (their likes, dis-likes, and their personality), their picture, as well as Thank You letters any time they receive funding, a care package, etc. from you. Knowing you have made a difference in a child’s life is a very satisfying experience. Sponsor a Graduating Senior

If you would like to sponsor one of our graduating seniors and provide needed items to send them off to college or trade school, please contact Debbie Barnes.

We allow each graduating senior to put together a wish list of items they need (microwave, bedding, ect) up to $250.
