Pecans for Sale!
Medina Children's Home has a beautiful 3-acre orchard of improved-variety paper shell pecan trees.
The trees were planted on our west campus in the 1960's by Mr. and Mrs. Charles Reaves of San Antonio and nurtured by the devoted staff of MCH.
Each year in November and December the pecans are harvested, collected, shelled and eaten by the children and staff residing at the Home.
In 2006, we harvested a record 4,200 pounds of pecans! If you would like to buy fresh pecans from our orchard, please click the link at the bottom of the page, email or call 830-589-2871.
